CASE statement welcoming Council of Europe action against SLAPPs

Last year, SAR Europe joined 102 organisations in a statement urging the Council of Europe to issue guidance to its member States on how to combat SLAPPs.  The call has been heard with a range of initiatives now underway in the Council of Europe’s two statutory bodies, the Committee of Ministers and the Parliamentary Assembly (PACE).

A statement welcoming these developments, and highlighting key elements which should be included, can be found on the website of the Coalition Against SLAPPs in Europe, (CASE), to which SAR Europe is a member.
