Inspireurope+ Second Leadership Roundtable

Inspireurope+ partners, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and European University Association, were pleased to organise a roundtable for university leaders on 23 October 2023. The roundtable gathered 30 university leaders, including rectors, vice-rectors, international directors from institutions across Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, France, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Spain, Slovakia, and Greece. The event provided an opportunity for university leaders to exchange experience and institutional approaches for supporting researchers at risk. It also provided scope to discuss good practices and useful guidelines, as well as national and European approaches for supporting at risk-researchers in Europe. There was a particular focus on gathering university leaders from Southern and Eastern Europe for this roundtable, and institutions new to supporting researchers at risk were particularly welcomed alongside institutions with greater experience in these supports.
