2024 Philipp Schwartz & Inspireurope+ Stakeholder Forum

The 2024 Philipp Schwartz Initiative and Inspireurope+ Stakeholder Forum was held on 18-19 April 2024 in Berlin, Germany. The 2024 forum focused on the topics of academic freedom in an authoritarian context, diversity and displacement, as well as diaspora engagement towards a reconstruction of an innovative academic system. There was wide participation in the forum from researchers at risk from around the world, especially those supported by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation’s Philipp Schwartz Initiative, as well as researchers from Ukraine, supported by MSCA4Ukraine. European and national government officials and other policymakers also participated, alongside representatives from NGOs, SAR sections, and higher education institutions across Europe.
